Living with PDE - Alecia’s Story

Longtime community member Alecia shares her personal experience of growing up and building a life with pyridoxine-dependent epilepsy.

She talks openly about childhood, independence, raising her daughter, and what it has meant to connect with other people affected by PDE. For parents raising children with the condition, Alecia’s story offers a valuable opportunity to hear directly from an adult living with PDE and see one possible picture of life beyond childhood.
