Cure PDE Family Retreats create space for families from across the United States and Canada to connect in person, learn from leading experts, share experiences, and spend meaningful time with others who truly understand the PDE journey.
What began with 10 families in 2024 has continued to grow each year, bringing together families, researchers, clinicians, and advocates around a shared mission of connection, education, and hope for the future.

Atlanta, Georgia
In July 2026, more than 20 families from across the United States and Canada came together at the Emory University Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia for the third Cure PDE Family Retreat.
Four experts presented their research and work with PDE patients, including Dr. Sidney Gospe, Dr. Curtis Coughlin, Dr. Isabella Pena, and Dr. Saadet Andrews

In October 2025, 12 families from across the United States and Canada gathered in Aurora, Colorado for the second Cure PDE Family Retreat.
In addition to spending lots of social time together, families toured the Coughlin Lab at the University of Colorado Anschutz Campus. Dr. Curtis Coughlin and his lab manager, Kristie Pauly, discussed their research and gave families a tour of the lab.
