Upcoming Webinars in April and May for the PDE Community

April 22, 2024

We are thrilled to announce two upcoming webinars for the Pyridoxine-Dependent Epilepsy (PDE) community. These events are designed to bring together families, researchers, and healthcare professionals to share knowledge, and experiences, and foster a sense of community. Here’s what you can expect:

April Webinar: A Community Event with Jennifer Conrad

This webinar, scheduled for the 4th Friday in April, is just around the corner! This community-focused event will be hosted by Jennifer Conrad, a dedicated parent of a teenager with PDE. Jennifer will share her family’s journey with PDE, providing insights into the challenges and triumphs they’ve experienced along the way. This is an excellent opportunity for families to connect, ask questions, and find support in our growing community. We invite everyone to join and be part of this meaningful conversation.

May Webinar: A Scientific Deep-Dive with Sid Gospe

The second webinar, set for the 4th Friday in May, will focus on the scientific aspects of PDE. Dr. Sid Gospe, a renowned expert in the field, will discuss the different clinical phenotypes of the three forms of PDE, with a primary focus on PDE-ALDH7A1. This session is ideal for those who want to learn a little more about the science behind PDE. While this webinar will focus on clinical phenotypes, there will be limited discussion on management strategies.

Both webinars are free to attend, and we encourage you to mark your calendars for these important events. Stay tuned for more details, including registration information and links to join the webinars. We look forward to seeing you there.
